I started my career as a freelance S&C coach / personal trainer. While I enjoyed working for myself and helping a wide variety of people work towards their goals, I started to sense I would be more satisfied working in a team-based environment. On the advice of a mentor I started a degree to open up more opportunities. I loved being in formal education (despite not enjoying secondary education that much), and stayed on at university to complete a Masters degree. I took as many voluntary positions as possible during this time to supplement my learning, which culminated in a season-long placement at Fulham FC during my Masters degree. This solidified my interest in sports science / strength and conditioning in a football environment. In 2018 I was lucky enough to start with Arsenal Women in their academy, which through hard work and good luck progressed very quickly. I am now in my 7th season with the first team. In this time I have honed a wide range of skills in the roles I have held (S&C coach, lead sports scientist, and most recently, a rehabilitation coach).
I don't profess to know it all. The more I think I know, the more I realise I don't. I will always remain humble and eager to learn. I hope I can bring this enthusiasm to anyone who seeks my help. I've tried to keep this bio deliberately short so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
